The Dental Bonding Procedure at Reyes & Kososki Dental

Our dental bonding procedure is simple and comfortable, involving the following steps:

Preparation: Minimal preparation is needed for bonding. Anesthesia is often not necessary unless the bonding is being used to fill a decayed tooth.
The Bonding Process: The surface of the tooth will be roughened and a conditioning liquid applied. This helps the bonding material adhere to the tooth. The tooth-colored, putty-like resin is then applied, molded, and smoothed to the desired shape.
Curing: An ultraviolet light or laser is used to harden the putty.
Polishing: After the resin is hardened, it is trimmed, shaped, and polished to match the sheen of the rest of the tooth surface.

Dr. Reyes has been such an amazing dentist for my family. We are a family of 5 and they made sure each of us were tended to with the upmost care. Highly recommend Reyes-Kososki Dental! Their staff was extremely friendly and accomodating to both my son and I. Who likes going to the dentist? Not me! But since I like my teeth and want to keep them in my mouth, I'm so thankful for Dr Kososki and Dr Reyes and their team. They've seen me through numerous cavities and given many helpful suggestions over the years as I've dealt with jaw issues and teeth grinding - often that have saved me money! And while a cleaning is still a cleaning, I greatly appreciate their gentleness and willingness to listen. And having a dentist I can trust!

Dr. Reyes and her team were AMAZING - compassionate, empathetic, patient, asked questions and made sure my daughter who HATES the dentist felt comfortable before her deep cleaning procedure.
